What the options do

Form fields
Every text box, check box, radio group and drop-down in the PDF is listed by its field name. Existing answers are filled in for you to change.
Flatten after filling
Turns your answers into ordinary page content. The form can no longer be edited, which suits a copy you send or archive.

Questions people ask

Is my form uploaded?

No. The form is filled in your browser and your answers never leave your device.

Why is my PDF not listed as a form?

Only PDFs with real form fields work here. Many forms are just a picture or flat text. They have nothing to fill in. Check that your PDF reader shows clickable boxes.

Field names look odd. Why?

The names come from whoever made the form and are not always readable. The page thumbnail and the order in the list help you match them.

Can I type in other languages?

Western European letters work. Other alphabets cannot be drawn with the standard form font, and the tool tells you which field is affected.

Can I sign the form?

Use the Sign PDF tool on the filled copy to add a signature.

Do forms with scripts and calculations work?

Values you type are saved. Automatic calculations or checks written into the form may not run until the file is opened in a full PDF reader.
