Questions people ask

Are these sizes official?

They are the sizes the platforms commonly recommend. Platforms change them, so treat them as good defaults and check the current guide for something critical.

Will my image lose quality?

Making an image smaller keeps it sharp. Making a small image bigger cannot add detail, so start from the largest original you have.

How do I stop faces being cropped?

Use Fit with colour or Fit with blur, which keep the whole picture. The crop option always trims from the centre.

Can I resize many images at once?

Yes. Add several images and every one is resized. With All sizes, you get every size of every image in one ZIP.

Is the file size small enough for upload?

JPG output at high quality is usually well under platform limits. Choose JPG when you need a smaller file.
