Questions people ask

In what order do I post the tiles?

Start with tile 01 and go up. The newest post appears top left, so the tiles are numbered from the bottom right of the picture. After posting all of them, the grid shows the picture the right way round.

What happens if my picture is not the grid's shape?

It is scaled to cover the whole grid and trimmed from the centre. Choose a picture whose shape is close to the grid, for example a 3 by 4 ratio for 3 by 3 portrait tiles.

Does the grid break if I post other things later?

Yes. New posts push the tiles down, so a grid only looks right while the tiles are the latest posts. Plan to add them together.

Does the profile show a different crop from the feed?

Yes. Posts in the feed may be shown in another shape than the profile grid, and older posts may use the square crop. Preview on your own profile.

How many tiles can I make?

Up to 16, with 4 columns by 4 rows.
