Questions people ask

Are the zones exact?

No. They are rounded guides based on the platforms' public advice and common layouts. Apps change and phones differ, so test a draft on a real phone.

What size should a vertical video be?

1080 by 1920 pixels, a 9:16 ratio, for Stories, Reels, TikTok and Shorts.

Why are captions at the bottom covered?

The platforms put their own caption, sound and account text there. Place yours higher, in the clear middle.

Does it work for horizontal videos?

It shows the part that remains after cropping to 9:16. Use a vertical original for the best result.

Is my video uploaded?

No. The browser reads one frame from the file on your device.
