How it works

  1. 1Choose your photos, or drag them onto the page.
  2. 2Pick Text or Logo. Type your text, or choose a logo file such as a PNG with a transparent background.
  3. 3Set size, opacity and position, and watch the preview. Use "Repeat across the image" for a full-cover mark.
  4. 4Select Add watermark and download the photos, or all of them as one ZIP.

What the options do

Text and logo
A text watermark uses a bold sans-serif font in the colour you pick. A logo is placed as it is, keeping its shape and any transparency.
Size
A share of the picture width, so the mark looks the same on small and large photos in a batch.
Opacity
Lower values make the mark more see-through. 40 to 60 percent is a good start.
Position
Nine places on the image, or repeated diagonally across it, which is harder to crop out.
Turn
Tilts the mark up to 90 degrees either way.
Soft dark outline
Draws a thin shadow around white text so it stays readable on bright areas.

Questions people ask

Are my photos uploaded?

No. The watermark is drawn in your browser. Your photos and your logo stay on your device.

Can I watermark many photos at once?

Yes. Add them all, set the mark once, and every photo gets it. Download them as a ZIP.

Which logo file works best?

A PNG with a transparent background. White or black logos work well at 40 to 60 percent opacity.

Does it lower the picture quality?

The photo is saved again. For JPG and WebP, a quality of 90 or higher keeps it looking the same. PNG stays lossless.

Can a watermark be removed again?

A mark placed over a busy part of a photo is hard to remove cleanly, and a repeated mark is harder still. No watermark is impossible to remove, though.
