How it works

What the options do
- Rotate every image
- Turns all images clockwise by 90 or 180 degrees, or 90 to the left. The Rotate button above the pictures adds more turns to selected images.
- Flip horizontally
- Mirrors left and right, like a selfie camera view.
- Flip vertically
- Turns the picture upside down as a mirror, top to bottom.
- Output format and quality
- Keep the format or choose JPG, PNG or WebP.

Are my images uploaded?
No. Rotating and flipping happen in your browser. Your images stay on your device.
Is the quality kept?
PNG stays lossless. JPG and WebP are saved again, so choose a quality of 90 or higher to keep the look.
What is the difference between rotating and flipping?
Rotating turns the whole picture like a clock hand. Flipping makes a mirror image, so text reads backwards.
Why was my photo sideways in the first place?
Phones store a note about how the camera was held. Some programs ignore it. ToolsMaxxing shows the photo the right way up and saves it that way.
Can I turn just one of many images?
Yes. Select that image and press Rotate above the pictures. The turn is added to whatever you pick in the options.
