How it works
- 1Choose your PDF. Each page is shown as a tile.
- 2Select the pages you want to keep, or type their numbers in the options.
- 3Reorder or rotate them if you like.
- 4Select Extract pages and download the new PDF.
What the options do
- Pages to extract
- Type page numbers or ranges such as 1-3, 7. This is used when no tile is selected.
- Select all
- Selects every tile; useful when you want to unselect just a few pages.
- Earlier and Later
- The new file follows the order of the tiles, so you can change the order of the pages you keep.

This tool runs in your browser. Your files are never uploaded to a server.
Questions people ask
Is the PDF sent to a server?
No. Pages are copied in your browser. Your document never leaves your device.
Is this different from Split PDF?
Extract makes one new file from the pages you choose. Split cuts a document into several files at once.
Can I extract pages that are not next to each other?
Yes. Select any tiles you like, or type something like 2, 5, 9-11.
Does extracting change the original?
No. Your original file stays as it is. You get a separate new file.
Will text stay searchable?
Yes. Pages are copied without being turned into pictures, so text and links on those pages keep working.
