Questions people ask

Does structured data improve my ranking?

Not directly. It helps search engines understand the page and can make it eligible for rich results, such as a price or rating in the listing. Eligibility is never guaranteed.

Can I add markup for content not on the page?

No. The markup must describe what visitors can see. Hidden or misleading markup can lead to a manual action against your site.

Why does the output show nothing?

It stays empty until you fill in at least one field for the chosen type.

Does FAQ markup still show in Google?

Google now shows FAQ rich results only for a few well-known government and health sites, but the markup is still valid and other tools can use it.

Where do I paste the script?

Anywhere in the head or body of the HTML page. Search engines read it from either.
