Questions people ask

How long should a title and description be?

Search engines cut by pixel width, not characters, but roughly 50 to 60 characters for the title and 120 to 160 for the description show in full. The preview marks where it would be cut.

Does the meta keywords tag help?

No. Google has ignored it for years, so this tool does not create it.

What does the canonical link do?

It tells search engines which address is the main version of a page, when the same content is reachable by several URLs such as with tracking parameters.

Why does my share image not show?

The image must be a full public address, not a path, and must be reachable without a login. Networks cache the result, so use their debug tools to refresh it.

Do these tags guarantee ranking?

No. They describe your page. Rankings depend on content quality and many other signals.
