Schools differ on plus and minus grades and on repeats. Check your institution's scale.

How it works

  1. 1Choose the grade scale used by your school.
  2. 2Write one course per line, with the grade and the credits, for example B+, 3.
  3. 3Read the GPA and total credits.
  4. 4Add or remove lines to plan future terms.

What the options do

US 4.0
A is 4.0, A- is 3.7, B+ is 3.3 and so on down to F at 0.
Bangladesh university 4.0
A+ is 4.00, A is 3.75, A- is 3.50, B+ is 3.25, B is 3.00 and so on. This is the common UGC-style scale.
Grade points
Type numbers instead of letters if your school uses another scale.

Questions people ask

How is GPA calculated?

Each grade is turned into points, multiplied by the course credits, and the sum is divided by the total credits.

Which line format is accepted?

Commas or spaces both work. The last item is the credits and the one before it is the grade. A course name before them is optional and ignored.

My university uses a different scale.

Choose Grade points and type the points your school gives each grade, for example 3.5, followed by the credits.

How are repeated courses handled?

Each line counts. If your school replaces the old grade, delete that line.

Is this my official GPA?

No. Your registrar's figure is the official one. Rounding and rules for withdrawn or pass-fail courses may differ.
