What does lorem ipsum mean?
It is scrambled Latin that comes from a text by Cicero from 45 BC. It has no meaning here, which is the point: readers focus on the layout, not the words.
Is the text different every time?
Yes, apart from the classic opening. Press Generate again for a fresh set.
Is it safe to leave placeholder text on a live site?
Avoid it. Search engines may see it as thin content, and visitors read it as unfinished. Replace it before launch.
Why use placeholder text at all?
