How it works

  1. 1Choose one or many images, or drag them onto the page.
  2. 2Pick the corners: square, rounded or a circle, and set how round.
  3. 3Set the border width and colour, and optional space between the picture and the border.
  4. 4Select Add border and corners. Use PNG or WebP to keep the corners see-through.

What the options do

Corners
Square keeps the shape. Rounded softens the corners by a share of the shorter side. Circle crops the middle of the picture to a circle.
Border width and colour
A solid frame of the width and colour you choose, added around the picture, so the image gets bigger by that amount.
Space
An extra band between the picture and the border, in its own colour. Useful for a photo-print look.
Output format
PNG and WebP keep corners transparent. JPG cannot be transparent, so the area outside the corners becomes white.

Questions people ask

Are my images uploaded?

No. Everything is drawn in your browser. The images never leave your device.

How do I get a round profile picture?

Choose Circle and save as PNG or WebP. The middle of the image is cropped to a circle with transparent corners.

Will the corners be transparent?

Yes in PNG and WebP. In JPG the corners become white, because JPG has no transparency.

Does the border make the image bigger?

Yes. The border and any space are added around the picture, so a 1000 pixel photo with a 20 pixel border becomes 1040 pixels wide.

Can I add borders to many images at once?

Yes. Every image gets the same settings and you download them as a ZIP.
