Questions people ask

Why does it look broken when I paste it?

ASCII art needs a monospace font, where every character has the same width. In chat apps, wrap it in a code block, usually with three backticks.

Which characters are supported?

Letters, digits and basic punctuation. Lower case is shown as capitals.

How long a word works?

Each letter is 5 characters wide, so about 15 letters fit in 100 columns. Longer text wraps badly in narrow places, so split long phrases across lines.

Can I use several lines?

Yes. Each line of input becomes its own row of big letters.

Is this the same as FIGlet fonts?

No. It uses one simple built-in font, not the full set of FIGlet fonts.
